Darla L. Henry is a Social Worker, Trainer, Teacher and Consultant with extensive knowledge and experience in the Child Welfare field. With a mission to build a path toward healing and well-being for children, youth and families in the child welfare system, Darla established and authored the 3-5-7 Model®. Darla’s doctoral research, which focused on resilience in maltreated children (Child Welfare, 1999) provides a foundation for understanding the life experiences of children, youth and families who are engaged in child welfare services. Additional experiences in special needs adoption, group homes, foster care, private clinical practice and teaching in schools of social work, have all contributed to the basis of her work, philosophies and practices.

Stephanie Hodge Wolfe, MSW, LSW, SFW, LSFW

Stephanie Hodge Wolfe is a Licensed Social Worker who has been involved in child welfare practice in both the public and private sector for the past 20 years. Her work
has focused on permanency service delivery in foster care, adoption and post-adoption areas of practice. Steph began working as an associate with Darla L. Henry and Associates in 2010, with an emphasis on training and program development. In addition to her role in supporting the implementation of the 3-5-7 Model®, Steph is a Site Consultant with the National Quality Improvement Center on Adoption and Guardianship Support and Preservation. Steph has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Pittsburgh.

Elise Gordon

Administrative Assistant

Elise Gordon has over 18 years of experience as an administrative assistant, customer service representative, & office manager.  She works with small businesses helping to create, and implement, organized systems and efficient methods of operations.  She graduated from University of Maryland with a major in Family Studies and is excited to work with Darla L. Henry & Associates.  Utilizing her strengths, she will continue to provide administrative support to this team of consultants!

Sharon Norrington, MSW

Program Support – Liaison for Ontario Province

Sharon Norrington has over 37 years of experience in the field of social work. She has a strong passion for children and families resulting in a 33-year career in child welfare focusing on foster care; adoption; kinship and youth. Sharon began working for Darla L. Henry & Associates in 2015- Program Support-Liaison for the Province of Ontario. In addition; she has delivered a variety of training programs to caregivers and child welfare professionals including the delivery of specialized  3-5-7 Model® caregiver training. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts(Sociology); Bachelor of Social Work and Masterof Social Work from McMaster University, Hamilton Ontario.

Kimberly Deiter-James​

Program Consultant​

Kimberly is a consultant and licensed social worker with 25 years of experience within the health and human services field with a concentration in child welfare. Kimberly has served in both direct service and leadership roles in both the public and private provider sectors, serving as the Director of a foster care and adoption agency as well as the Director of a children and youth agency. Kimberly has years’ experience facilitating change management and other organizational development activities for health and human services agencies. Kimberly has both Bachelor and Master of Social Work (BSW) degrees and is a licensed social worker (LSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
