Training builds a strong foundation of the 3-5-7 Model® to promote practice level and systems level change. Three phases of training and education are provided to support 3-5-7 Model® integration. These phases include Orientation/Overview, Applications, and Implementation and below is an outline of an ideal training foundation. Adaptations to this program are provided to meet the needs of the organization.
Training can be provided on-site, virtually or a hybrid of these formats. On-site training programs consists of two days, plus possible follow up on-site advanced training and coaching experiences. Virtual trainings are provided through a series of webinars. Additional specific topics are available for conferences. Training is delivered to agency staff and individuals with delivery provided through planning and implementation discussions.

Those participating in training can purchase the 3-5-7 Model® Workbook which includes over 40 activities, techniques for engaging children and youth, and tips for overcoming barriers to working with youth.
Additional training hours includes an introduction to the Readiness Continuum and the Skills Development Guide, tools to help staff integrate the 3-5-7 Model® over time consistently and with fidelity.

Training is essential and encouraged for all managers, supervisors and caseworkers who will be involved in aspects of direct service delivery. Capacity for training is limited to ensure optimal learning.
Coaching begins 4 weeks after the initial trainings and is provided through Zoom format. Timing of the training is strategically scheduled to allow participants to receive and retain more information and to allow for practice of the use of the model.
