The Academy for Child Welfare Practice (ACWP) engages in a preparation process that is specific to each organization. Through an initial inquiry process, ACWP staff learns about the organization to provide guidance for the installation of the 3-5-7 Model® approach. Our staff further supports organizations in implementation through a developmental process to fully bring the 3-5-7 Model® into practice through training, coaching and consultation.

Our initial inquiry process includes:

  • Initial conversations with interested parties in your organization
  • 30 minute introduction of the 3-5-7 Model® via web-conferencing

3-5-7 Model® implementation is supported via a consultative process focusing on preparation of systems to support 3-5-7 Model® practices. ACWP staff can support organizations in implementation through the development of a plan describing the elements needed within the organization at administrative, supervisory, and direct care levels to ensure implementation of the 3-5-7 Model® with fidelity.

Consultation covers the following topics:

  • Administrative oversight of implementation of 3-5-7 Model® and addressing organizational barriers to practice applications
  • Supervision and coaching of staff using the 3-5-7 Model® framework
  • Shared decision making using the 3-5-7 Model®
  • Outcomes identification and monitoring
